Life is amazing! Is it always fun? No, but we can find beauty and
make new discoveries each and every day. From the very day we are born, we
began to experience new ideas and the amazing creations of nature and man on
this wonderful planet.
Beautiful birds and animals create their
homes and give birth to their next generation. A gorgeous waterfall, canyons,
rock formations, oceans, and space inspire artists and photographers to capture
those moments for others to experience as well. A flower blooming is a miracle
unto itself, giving joy to all who appreciate it. Artists have a vision and
create amazing paintings, sculptures, photography, clothing, quilts, and
jewelry for the rest of the world to enjoy. Street artists compose and present
their talent for all to share. Books offer new worlds for us to explore.
Today’s Internet allows us to share in the beauty of our earth,
art, travel, research, and education in a manner which was not available to
past generations. The world is now basically at our fingertips. All we have to
do is find it.
Posts on this site will include variety of subjects from amazing
photography and art to new discoveries in technology and medicine. The scope of
these posts will range from very simple to incredibly unique, fun, and
sometimes just bizarre. My hope is that you enjoy the subjects as much as I
enjoyed finding them.
When I am not on the computer, I spend my time quilting and doing machine embroidery for a small shop I have on Etsy. I love reading, cooking, baking, knitting, crocheting, doing needlepoint, and finding new creative ideas. My miniature Pomeranian, Tod, lives with me and is constantly by my side.
Life constantly offers each of us endless opportunities for new experiences and challenges. Accept the challenge to see the beauty and majesty in each and every day, and it will be there for you.
